Keys used with SQL in putty ?

I type some command at the SQL prompt.I want to move back to a position to modify the command.Arrow keys don't work! What do we use ?

back arrows dont work for sql prompt.. try copy- paste, its a better option..

Copy paste ya! But i want something simpler! Any substitute for arrow keys!

i guess there is no option for goin back, but u can use copy paste by selecting the text n pressing right click.
